When we crave something sweet, we often reach for desserts high in sugar and fats. This raspberry basil sorbet is a great alternative – made from simple ingredients, it's dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and packed with natural vitamins and antioxidants.
The base of the recipe is frozen raspberries, which retain their aroma, color, and nutritional value. Raspberries are known for their high vitamin C and fiber content, while basil adds a pleasant freshness and contains numerous bioactive compounds. Together, they create a light, refreshing dessert suitable for hot days or as a light meal conclusion.

Ingredients (2–4 servings)
- 400 g raspberries (we recommend frozen fruit)
- 2–3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (to taste)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 6–8 fresh basil leaves
- 2–4 tablespoons water (if needed)
Instructions
- Place raspberries, lemon juice, sweetener, and basil leaves in a blender.
- Blend until you get a smooth, creamy mixture.
- Add a little water if needed to make blending easier.
- Transfer the mixture to a container and place it in the freezer for 1–2 hours.
- Before serving, let the sorbet sit at room temperature for a few minutes, then quickly stir or blend again for a smoother texture.
